One of my favorite songs, about the "fallen" woman who came to wash Jesus' feet with her tears. Some say it was Mary Magdalene, others say, not so. In any case, writing this song was a real experience, almost as if she described the scene to me herself...

All except for the chorus of the song were parts of a message someone had received from the Lord for a boy who had been driving a car that was involved in a fatal accident while he was still in a coma, but which also appealed a lot to me. It was an unconditional and endless love that I wanted to pass on to others, if they would just give Him the chance...

In November of '94 in an Irish Pub in the town of Ravensburg I met someone who was going to be instrumental in helping me find a way out of the mess that my life had become at this point, and this was one of the first musical results from that relationship.

On December 3rd, 1994, our daughter Julie-Ann was born.
I actually wrote the first half of this song in the hospital while we were waiting for her arrival.
After 3 boys in a row, she was a nice surprise.

I guess we've all felt betrayed at one time or another, and may, at the same time, also have sometimes let others down, too.
